IN 2024 WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD to a year of camping, field trips, nature studies and AS ALWAYS hosting and educating the newcomers. Our fund drive is on so that we can pursue our ongoing environmental monitoring and flood plane studies. These are the endeavors that have made us into the exemplary and standard-setting field study organization that we are today. We protect Vermont's quintessential Class A highland aquifer evidencing a topography with a remarkable aesthetic. Moreover the Rock River is an aquifer that is a working landscape and home to a population of great cultural diversity. Our environmental dedication is our gratefulness for the above-mentioned good fortune of our circumstances.
We have reached a new phase in the development of our operations, one based on a.) direct communications with the Agency of Natural Resources (ANR), b.) stronger collaboration with other regional non-profits and c.) statewide grassroots networking with individuals and environmental non-profits.
2024 Will be a year dedicated to hydrology and geological field studies and to furthering the cultural development of the aquifer's working landscape and river using constituencies.
We will continue to need funding to pursue our clean-ups and sign making and to distribute our educational pamphlets and leaflets. Please, give generously!
Basic membership dues are $25 per person for 2024
